Patience is key! It will take roughly 30 days to see full results after the healing process.
Touch-ups are not always necessary, but sometimes necessary.
Immediately after your procedure, you may experience swelling and your lips may be a little sore.
Initially, your lips will appear bold in color. As you are healing, they will heal roughly 40% lighter to a beautiful tone.
Throughout healing, your lips will feel dry and your skin will feel tight. This is normal!
Hyperpigmentation can happen on any lip client without warning.
We cannot guarantee how you will heal. Follow all aftercare instructions as directed, however your skin type and what you expose your skin to may have an effect on your healed results that is out of our control.
DO NOT use any makeup, creams, exfoliants on the lips for 14 days.
DO NOT sweat excessively for 7 days. (Exercising, sauna’s, pools, and steam room)
DO NOT let your lips dry out, but do not rely on saliva to hydrate. Use only the provided balm.
DO NOT expose your lips to the direct sun or UV Rays during the healing process. Following the healing process, SPF is important for the longevity of your tattoo.
DO NOT lick, pick, scratch your lips.
DO NOT use Vaseline or any petroleum based products on your tattoo.
DO NOT get massages or facials or skin treatments during the healing process.
DO NOT use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on your lips.
Avoid oily, spicy, acidic foods for 7 days.
Use an unscented antimicrobial soap (lather it up in your hands) and wash your lips. DO NOT use excess pressure.
Pat dry completely, DO NOT rub with anything abrasive.
Apply aftercare balm provided by your artist, nothing else. When applying, use a blotting motion or with your clean hands.
DO NOT let your lips dry out.
Continuously apply aftercare balm throughout the day.
