The ART OF MACHINE WORK

his intensive course is a true introduction into the PMU industry, with all fundamental information and all about working with machines and shading techniques. Through presentations and hands-on training, students will learn all foundational knowledge necessary to begin their career. Learn each shading technique used in most PMU services, beginning with brows!

Industry knowledge, color theory, skin theory, needle theory, five shading techniques, brow shaping/mapping, procedure etiquette with best health and safety protocols, proper depth, body mechanics and proper technique for tattooing, business/marketing strategy, guidance for managing clientele with website/booking systems, creating content, and so much more! Do I need previous certifications or licenses to take or perform PMU services?

No! In the state of Ohio, PMU services are regulated by the Health Department in the county you will be working in. You need a certification from your course and a space approved by the Health Department and you are ready to begin your career!

I am interested in offering various services, Do you teach them all at once?

Absolutely not! Cosmetic Tattooing is complex and each service has unique challenges.

It is ALWAYS recommended to ease into the industry, allowing yourself to focus on one skill to master and gain confidence. Learning too many services at once is often overwhelming, which can lead to discouraged/frustrated student.

Do you offer support after completing the certification class?

Absolutely. As an artist that began a career with so little resources, I am here to be a mentor as often as needed/wanted. I keep in contact with students to check in with them as they begin their careers because a students success is my goal.

What is the potential earnings of PMU artist?

A successful PMU artist can easily make six figures per year. Of course this is not something that is guaranteed or easy to predict, but with proper training, support, and dedication... the opportunities are endless.

Can I learn Online?

Online education is VERY accessible, and a great way to learn other artist techniques. However, any NEW skill or service is best learned in person. Once hands on learning is completed, short online courses and tutorials are great for exposure to other methods.

What does my deposit cover?

To secure your seat in a class, a deposit is taken to cover the cost of your supply kit! The remaining cost of the course will be due at the beginning of Day One of your class.

Do you offer financing options?

Yes! Afterpay is the most used option for those in need of financial assistance, as well as other third-party financial institutions.
